The National Museum of Contemporary Art is one of the newest museums in Bucharest. It was set up in the E4 wing of the monumental Parliament Palace, and the access is possible through Calea 13 Septembrie.
There is a focus on displaying works by the contemporary artists of Romania, but a consistent part of the museological mission of the venue refers to the popularization of international names. Thus, plenty of temporary exhibitions are constantly organized. The museum is one of the spearheads in promoting the contemporary trends in art on the local scene of Bucharest.
