The Palace Hall is one of the most important concert halls in Bucharest. The name of the building comes from its neighboring on the Royal Palace (where the National Museum of Art of Romania is located), in the vicinity of the Revolution Square. The building was erected in 1960 to the purpose of accommodating the sundry activities carried out by the members of the communist party.

At present, it is used to cultural and entertainment purposes, constantly hosting concerts, conferences and exhibitions all the year round. The wholesome acoustics and the overall conditions featured by the Palace Hall turn, for instance, the building into one of the main venues where some of the performances occasioned by the reputed George Enescu International Festival are held.
